Standard is not an option
Our survey data shows that 56% of customers choose to upgrade their business cards to a more luxurious premium finish instead of the industry standard 350 gsm when given the opportunity. In fact, it’s clear that a wide range of substrates and finishes is essential when it comes to upselling, and Aura’s range is one of the widest in the industry.

Basically, if you’re only selling “standard” 350 gsm business cards, you’re running out of margin. And working with Aura as a reseller could be the key to increasing your results.

In short, if you’re not reselling the unique business card options that Aura Print can offer you and your customers, you’re limiting your sales potential by more than half.

Our sales data shows that these claims also have significant tailwinds, with a 22% year-over-year increase in customers ditching regular business cards for something more unique.

And in terms of desirability, 86% of their customers agree that a thicker business card looks more professional, so upselling thicker business card stock seems like a no-brainer.

Finally, we know that as the pandemic recedes, the environment will come back on the agenda and in the next few years there will be a big push for recycled business cards. 54% of our professional resellers said they and end-users care about using recycled paper, and we’ve already noticed there’s been a 64% year-over-year increase the number of customers opting for recycled business card alternatives.

Building on this, we are bolstering our recycled range with uncoated recycled, kraft, cotton and even more in development such as bamboo and hemp business cards.
