The Daily Tribune –

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) continues to advance its commitment to sustainability by issuing contactless business cards to its staff. Designed and supplied by British company V1CE, these business cards feature Near Field Communication (NFC) technology which enables contactless data transfer between devices.

BIC’s V1CE business cards have been made with eco-friendly bamboo materials and are designed with the circuit’s unique branding. BIC staff members can use the card’s NFC technology to share their information such as contact details and social media details by simply tapping the card against a smartphone.

No apps are required for V1CE cards to work and they are compatible with all major smartphone brands and models, as well as their operating systems. Laurence Jones, Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications, and Bahrain International Circuit, said: “We are delighted to be working with V1CE, who have developed cutting-edge technology in this area, while the cards themselves are also sourced from responsible.

Roger Hadley, Operation Manager, V1CE, said: “We are delighted to be officially partnered with BIC and its partners to be part of the change to achieve carbon neutrality in the region. BIC has joined Google, Emirates, Jumeirah and McDonald’s as world-renowned customers using V1CE contactless business cards.
